Rosemary started the chocolate business fourteen years ago on a part-time basis. She was frequently requested to plan events and cater dinners and would often mold chocolate theme items as novelties and gifts for those in attendance.

Rosemary's popularity grew as word spread about the delicious chocolates that she had made. Her production soon expanded, and she started to create chocolate items for holiday occasions and began experimenting with resale at craft fairs.

Rosemary has refined her recipes, tested her ingredients and submitted her confections to the Canadian Institute of Fisheries Technology - Food Science, Daltech Dalhousie University for lab assessment of product samples. Recommendation where made and the product finalized… Rosemary's Chocolates was ready to hit the market.
